Terms of Service

UnitX is an independent software studio based in Delhi, India, currently building Android applications like Paper, a wishlist and productivity app that helps users stay motivated.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and UnitX (“we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your use of all UnitX Android apps and related services (the “Platform”).

By downloading, accessing, or using our apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

• Our apps are affordable and designed to be accessible, not free.

• We care deeply about your privacy and never sell your data.

• We build products to help people stay motivated, organized, and bring out the artist in user.

• You own all content you create in our apps—we don’t claim any rights over your wishlists and notes.

Our apps are available globally. However:

•     If you're under 13, you should use the app with parental guidance.

•     If you're under 16 and live in the EU/UK, we recommend adult supervision.

• Subject to these Terms, UnitX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for personal and non-commercial purposes.

When using our apps, you agree not to:

•     Post or store harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

•     Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse our app or services.

•     Interfere with other users' ability to enjoy the app.

You are responsible for managing your own device, backups, and privacy.

You can use our apps either:

•     In offline/local mode (no sign-in required), or

•     With Firebase Authentication, for syncing across devices

All content you create (e.g. wishlists, goals, notes) is yours. We do not claim ownership and do not use your content for marketing or advertising.

You are also responsible for the content you create. Please ensure it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

We use trusted third-party tools like Firebase Authentication, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics to enable key features and improve performance.

By using our apps, you also agree to the privacy and terms of those services. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

Our apps are budget-friendly and may require either a monthly subscription or a one-time payment to access premium features.

We may update pricing, offer discounts, or change access to certain features over time. Any changes to pricing will be clearly communicated through the Google Play Store or within the app itself.

We may:

•     Improve or modify features

•     Discontinue certain parts of the app

•     Push regular updates for performance or security

We strive for a stable experience, but do not guarantee:

•     24/7 uptime

•     Zero data loss

•     Bug-free operation

Rare bugs or crashes may occur. To prevent data loss, please use sync or export options where available.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts for:

•     Violating these Terms

•     Abusing the app or attempting to manipulate data

•     Any behavior that disrupts the app or harms other users

If your account is deleted, your online data will be removed within 7 days.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Once requested:

• All associated data will be permanently deleted within 7 days

Local-mode users can delete data directly from their device.

We welcome ideas and feedback. By submitting suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without compensation.

To the fullest extent, UnitX shall not be liable for:

•     Indirect or incidental damages

•     Data loss or app crashes

•     Any issues arising from the use or inability to use the app

All services are offered “as-is”, without warranties or guarantees.

These Terms may change over time. We’ll notify you via the app or update notes. Continued use after an update means you agree to the new terms.
